My Intensive Therapy Retreats at Pen View, Hebden Bridge take place over 3 days during the week or over a long weekend and consist of daily, extended one-to-one therapy sessions. During this time, you’ll be my only client so will receive my undivided attention.
You’ll stay at Pen View (my former home in Hebden Bridge) and enjoy sole use of the property during your visit. I’ll visit you at pre-agreed times for your therapy sessions.
Between our meetings you’ll have time to reflect on our therapy sessions, enjoy leisure activities, explore the area, or simply have a bit of ‘me-time’.

Who has Intensive Therapy?

Folk who can’t commit to weekly appointments as their diary is anxiety-inducingly full.
They usually have a demanding job, caring responsibilities, or health challenges, or all three!
My clients want to make meaningful changes in double-quick time and are prepared to take time away from their hectic everyday life to immerse themselves in dynamic therapy.

How to decide if Intensive Therapy is right for you?
Before you book a retreat, we’ll start by having an initial ‘discovery’ chat on the phone or via Zoom.
This is a relaxed conversation where we can discuss your therapy objectives.
I’ll explain what you can expect from the retreat and your stay at Pen View. I’ll answer your questions about the programme, the accommodation, and the area.
I detest strident salespeople who talk but don’t listen, so I have a ‘No pushy sales talk promise’ so you can book a call confident that you won’t be subjected to a sales pitch or pressure to book.

What Happens On An Intensive Therapy Retreat?
At your first session we’ll confirm your goals and agree session timings and frequency.
I encourage you to fully engage in sessions and work with me to achieve the results you desire, but this is your personalised retreat, so being comfortable with the pace is paramount.
I promise to give you my full attention and to utilise my extensive experience and therapeutic skills to help you reach your therapy aims.
Our sessions will incorporate a variety of integrated therapy approaches which may include hypnotherapy, CBT, coaching, EFT and other tried-and-tested modalities.
Between meetings you’ll have time to practise newly learned techniques, listen to my hypnosis recordings, rest, relax, or explore the local area.
